Bulk adding UTM parameters to Google is a very common question, and it may sound complicated but it only takes a few simple steps in order to accomplish this.
Normally, you want to add UTM parameters to track your campaign’s performance across multiple traffic sources and publishing media.
Here are the simple steps to bulk add UTM parameters to your Google ads account:
- You first need to sign in to your google ads account and go to the ads and extensions option which you should find on the light gray column at the left of your screen.
- Then, you need to select all of the ads you want to add these parameters too.
- You then click on the “edit” button which will prompt a dropdown to show, in that dropdown you will choose the option to “Change custom parameters”.
- You will then see an option to enter a name and value for your parameters, next to the “add parameters” setting.
Once you follow these steps, you just need to “add” and “apply” those parameters and that’s it.
After you have added your parameters, if you want to edit those same parameters you can follow the same steps mentioned above and then you click on the edit button.
